Step 1.  Call us at 603-335-8668 or stop by our office located in the Lowe's Plaza in Rochester, 160 Washington Street Suite 203.  Ask to speak with a loan officer and s/he will take a mortgage application with you either over the phone or in person.  This is usually a 10-15 minute conversation.  The items of information you will need are:

Step 2. We pull credit and review the credit report with our clients.  We educate our clients on ways to increase credit scores and help them better understand why their credit scores are what they are.

Step 3.  We use the credit report along with income information to determine the debt to income ratio and see how much you qualify for.  Based on your income, credit score and amount of money you have to put down or equity you have in the home (if a refinance) we determine what loan program works best for you.

Step 4. After being pre-approved we then collect documentation to support the information given on the application and do verifications of emplyment and taxes.

Step 5. We order an appraisal and title for the property you are purchasing or refinancing.

The entire pre-approval process is usually less then 30 minutes.  The loan process from start to finish can be done in as little as 3 weeks.
